This is actually a follow-up after I finished No.54 'cause one of my visitors encouraged me to create a "similar piece." I wasn't fascinated by the idea though, but after some time of hesitating and contemplating, I made something based on the famous polka-dots to grab the image in my head. (read more)

To be honest, my very instinct told me that this piece somehow has set an almost unapproachable standard for me to create something that overwhelms myself. Am I exaggerating? Maybe I am, or maybe not, but if I have to be make a definite choice among all of the artwork that I believe it's genuinely original and unforgettable, No.14 is the one and only.

Energetic Baby No.16
I still remember I finished this about the Chinese New Year when I had an unexpected trip to an international exhibition of papercrafts, where I even got a chance to see an artist cutting a sheet of paper with his hands and a pair of scissors. Some works I saw there were purely incredible - the cuts, the shapes, patterns, compositions, subjects - that easily take your breath away. With the great inspiration, the sense of relief and a bit more contemplation, No.16 was born. That's how art was made sometimes - you need some outside help by something that moves your inner being.

Energetic Baby No.75
The patterns on the drapes, clothes, or wallpaper are always something that arouse my full attention and imagination, therefore No.75 was rendered in a more soft and natural way this time. Plenty of shades are there to give the impression of 3D graphics and the slightly curves, for sure, are more interesting element that make No.75 have a little swing in the breeze of summer evening. I can't image other colors would be better choice for this, which was one of the most pleasant experience I've ever had.

Energetic Baby No.15
This is one of the earliest pieces of this series. I don't know why it attracts relatively few notices even though I put lots of thoughts and efforts on this. It basically is made up with LINES (one of those things that has amazing possibilities) that seem to be everlastingly crossing and pushing and pulling each other. The structure is bold and intense, and thanks to the palette, the colors balance the image with strength as well.
